Maples Group Advises Biohaven on its US$230 Million Public Offering

Maples and Calder, the Maples Group's law firm, is pleased to have advised longstanding client Biohaven Ltd ("Biohaven") on its recently announced underwritten public offering of common shares valued at US$230 million to be used toward general corporate purposes. The firm provided British Virgin Islands ("BVI") and Cayman Islands counsel for the offering, which closed in April 2024.

Chris Newton, the firm's BVI office managing partner, led the BVI Corporate legal team which included Associate Chloe Harris. The Cayman Islands Corporate team supporting Biohaven included Partner Suzanne Correy and Associate Kimberly Robinson. The teams acted alongside Biohaven's US counsel Sullivan & Cromwell. Ropes and Gray provided US counsel to the underwriters.
